Weekly Round-Up: #1.21

This week I have mostly been huddled up in my study getting well and truly stuck into assignment writing. I have also been suffering with an awful cold. I am feeling better, however I have still lost my voice – it is barely a croak!

I did however manage to organise my time well and posted not one, but two blog posts!

Blogging: Birchbox & Autumn Skincare

In tuesday’s post I shared with you my November Birchbox.

I absolutely adore the peacock feather design – greens & blues being my favourite colours.

This months box was heavy on the skincare but I don’t mind that as you can never have enough skincare samples!

If you want to check out my full unveiling and mini review click here: Birchbox: November 2016 – The Unveiling.

On Thursday I shared with you my Autumn skincare essentials.

These wonder products have been firm staples in my skincare routine since the end of summer. Keeping up this consistent routine has transformed my skin. My skin looks and feels smooth and radiant and the texture has really improved and evened out. Love it.

Saturday: New Hair Colour & Dave’s Birthday Meal

On Saturday I had my hair cut and coloured. Dave suggested I go for a slightly deeper red ready for Christmas and I have to say I agree with him!

I love how the colour turned out. It is a really deep shiny red and has really vamped up my look.

I love how my berry lipstick compliments my hair perfectly! I am wearing the shade Motörhead from Kat Von D’s studded kiss lipstick range. Such a beautiful creamy matte lipstick. A full review coming soon!

On Saturday afternoon Dave and I decided to celebrate his birthday early (he is actually turning 36 today 😊) by having an early dinner at Arbuckles.

For starter I ordered macaroni cheese bites with a hickory BBQ sauce. They were actually surprisingly delicious.

For main I ordered the Texan vegetable fajitas with a side of brisket chilli. This was so so filling! I loved all the veggies. Yum yum yum!

As we were celebrating we just had to push the boat out and finish the meal with a dessert! Just look at this plate of gorgeousness. This is the delicious peanut butter stack – layers of brownie, caramel, putter butter and vanilla ice cream. Beautiful.

Thanks for reading. I hope you have enjoyed my weekly round-up. Have you tried anything I’ve mentioned? Do let me know your thoughts as I love reading and replying to your comments.
