Estée Lauder: Breast Cancer Awareness Beauty Box – The Unveiling

I seem to be on a Beauty Box roll! Last week I brought to you my Birchbox and TILI beauty box unveiling and today I bring to you another beauty box unveiling!

This time I present to you a beauty box with a twist. I had never heard of this box but my wonderful boyfriend surprised me with this for my birthday. He knows me oh so well and he stumbled across this and just had to get it for me.

This is the fabulous Breast Cancer Awareness Beauty Box from Estée Lauder. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and to raise awareness and support the cause Estée Lauder launch a limited edition beauty box which contains 8 generous samples of Estée Lauder and their affiliated companies. The box costs a mere £20 and more importantly £12 goes to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Breast Cancer is a disease which is very close to my heart. I lost my beloved aunt to breast cancer 13 years ago and Dave’s mum is a breast cancer survivor. This is such a great cause and over half of the cost of the box goes to support the cause.

So what is in the box?

Firstly with each purchase from Estée Lauder you receive two samples in a lovely silk pouch. This is a great added extra!

Bumble and bumble – Thickening Hairspray 30ml

I have never tried anything from Bumble and bumble so I am intrigued to give this a go. I do however have very thick hair so I am not entirely sure I need thickening hairspray!

Aveda – Hand Relief Moisturizing Creme 40ml

Having a good quality handcream is always a must so this will be great for my handbag.

Clinique – Take The Day Off Make-Up Remover

I have tried the Take The Day Off cleansing balm before which I loved so I am looking forward to giving this liquid cleanser again. A great addition to the box.

Clinique – Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

This is a new product to me and I love Clinique as a brand. I love a good moisturiser so I am sure I will love this. This is also a really generous size so you can get a really good test of the product before indulging in the full size.

Smashbox – Photo Finish Primer 7ml

I did let out a little squee when I saw this in the box as I had been wanting to try something from Smashbox for a long, long time. I also have been recently trying out various primers and have heard great things about this one.

I have used this a few times and the consistency is really strange. It has a gel formula which literally disappears on the skin leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. I am sure I will write a full review once I’ve given it a good try.

Origins – Drink Up Intensive Mask 7ml

I have used this mask before and it is great to give your skin a hydration boost while your sleeping! A great size for travelling.

Estée Lauder – Advanced Night Repair 7ml

I have wanted to try this much coveted night serum for a long time but the hefty price tag had put me off. This is a generous sample size which will enable me to try the serum before buying. So far I am loving it and so far it hasn’t irritated my very sensitive skin. Love it.

Estée Lauder – Sumptous Knockout Black Mascara

I have never tried a mascara from Estée Lauder so I’m looking forward to giving this a go.

All-in-all I love this box and it was a lovely surprise for my birthday! I’m not sure if this box is still avaliable but if it is snap it up fast! For only £20 it is a great price and value and you know that £12 is going straight to a cancer charity.

I hope you have enjoyed my mini review. Have you tried anything from the box? I love reading and replying to your comments.
