For those of you who don’t know TILI or Try It Love It is a beauty box from shopping channel QVC. This is their second box, the first one was released in July and if you missed my full review then click the link here: TILI Box – The Unveiling.
The TILI beauty box is different from other beauty box subscriptions I have. Firstly it is not a subscription. You simply choose to buy the box when each one is released. The first box was released in July and this second edition in October so it looks probable that the TILI box could be every 3 months.
The box costs £20 which includes postage & packaging and includes full size products alongside generous sample sizes of premium beauty brands. If you are interested in getting the box for yourself you can but it here: QVC TILI Box Second Edition.
I am really impressed with the value of the box – ml for ml this is over £99 worth of product for £20! Such a great way to try new products and you get to see what will be in the box before it is released so you can make a fully informed choice before you buy!
So what is in the second edition box?
Percy & Reed: Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Mousse (full size 200ml)
I have seen this brand around and have heard great things so I am interested in giving this a go. I have not used mousse in years…. decades in fact. I can remember using a hair mousse in my early teen years which gave my pony tail hair style the super stiff & crunchy slicked down look… Yes I was a 90’s teen! This promises to be lightweight, holding hair and creating volume without the crunch! Excellent.
Caudalie: Resveratrol Lift Moisturizer SPF20 (sample size 15ml)
I have tried a few mositursers from Caudalie through my Birchbox subscription and they have always impressed me. This product claims to contain soft-focus mattifying powders to blur and soften the skin so is great as both a moisturiser and a primer before make up.
NIOD: Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex (sample size 15ml)
This is a completely new brand for me so I am intrigued! This claims to contain 12 hyaluronic compounds which aid hydration supports your skin to look and feel plumper, softer and more youthful. No I am heading towards my mid 30’s I need me some of this!
Laura Geller: Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer (full size 59ml)
I have seen Laura Gellar products around for a long long time but I have never actually tried anything from the brand. I have heard great things about the Spackle primer however I was a bit concerned when I realised that this version is bronze. I am the palest of the pales however this doesn’t leave me looking orange. It has a very subtle bronze glow to it which beautifully evens out my skin without looking orange!
OPI: Nail Lacquer in Russian Navy (full size 15ml)
I am an avid fan of OPI products and Russian Navy is a beautiful, delicately shimmering shade which is just perfect for this time of year.
Philosophy: Amazing Grace 3-in-1 Shower Gel, Bath Foam & Shampoo (sample size 30ml)
I used to buy a lot of Philosophy products and Amazing Grace was one of my favourite scents. Such a lovely delicate floral scent and this product is so versatile as you can use it to wash in the shower, bath or even as a luxurious shampoo. A great product.
Tarte: Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara (full size)
I have always wanted to try something from the brand Tarte as their products always seem such high quality and cruelty-free too! This mascara is just outstanding. Definitely my favourite product from the box. This mascara creates great volume which is buildable so you can create anything from an everyday natural look to a really dramatic vampy look. I definitely want to try more Tarte products!
Pixi: Endless Silky Eye Pen (full size)
Again this is a brand I have heard lots of great things about but have never taken the plunge to try anything from them. This beautiful, silky eye pen is fantastic. It is so soft and creamy and gives you just enough play time before it sets down and does not budge. Love it.
I am again blown away by the selection of products, quality and value of the TILI beauty box. I am really looking forward to the next box which if my calculations are correct will be released in the new year.
What do you think of this TILI box? Have you tried any of these products? I do love reading and replying to your comments.
