It’s Birchbox time & this months box is themed around the astrological elements of Earth, Air, Fire & Water.
October is my birthday month (my birthday was last week 🎂) so I received the Air box. I love the glow in the dark starry night design & I love the drawer style of this box as these are great for storage.
So what did I get in this months box?
Doux Me – Pure Spring Mist (sample size RRP £16)
I love these types of spray mists as they are great to quickly refresh your face without interfering with your make-up or as a refreshing toner after cleansing and before moisturising.
This is also a great size for my bag so I’m sure I will be taking this to uni with me to give me a quick pick-me-up.
Rituals – The Ritual of Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream (sample size RRP £19.50)
I have tried quite a few products from the brand Rituals through my Birchbox subscription and they have always impressed me.
This is thick body cream which soaks into the skin quickly leaving it beautifully soft and has a soothing delicate floral scent which I absolutely love. Feels like a lovely nurturing hug! Love it.
Birchbox – Eyebrow Brush (full size £1.99)
You can’t really go wrong with an eyebrow brush and this is great quality and looks good nestled in with my other make-up brushes. A nice addition to the box.
Lord & Berry – 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in Intimacy (full size £12)
This is one of my favourite products in the box. I have tried other Lord & Berry products through Birchbox before and they have always surprised me at the quality. This beautiful lipstick crayon is by far my best experience. I absolutely love the creamy consistency which glides on to the lips effortlessly.
The crayon is shaped perfectly to line the lips precisely and fill in. The formula dries down to a matte finish, but isn’t drying. It still holds the creaminess. The colour is just so stunning. A perfect nude with a slight mauve to it – it is definitely my perfect nude. Love it. I will definitely be using this a lot!
Number 4 – Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil (sample size RRP £18)
My hair is dry but the roots can look greasy very quickly so I was sceptical about using an hair oil. However my fears were misplaced as this oil nourishes the hair and makes it look healthy & shiny – not greasy at all! A great little product and a great sample size which will last a long time as you only need a drop or two each time!
Oribe – Dry Texturizing Spray (sample size RRP £19)
I have heard so much about this brand from the beauty & blogging world but had never tried anything from Oribe. I was so excited to see this sample in my box. This certainly lives up to the hype. It’s a beautiful dry shampoo and styling product in one. It has a lovely delicate scent which perks up the hair and refreshes and cleans on the inbetween wash days. Love it. One of my favourite products from this month!
