Another week, another round-up. It’s been an emotional week, I officially finished my job so I am now completely unemployed and my energy levels have been very erratic and frustrating!
Blog: Stationery & Neal’s Yard Remedies
Nevertheless I have managed to post on this blog twice this week and I am really proud of both posts.
I am now officially unemployed but I will be returning to being a full time student on the 26th so of course I had to treat myself to a few new stationery bits & pieces. If you missed my post then check it out here: Uni Stationery Haul.
I also shared my most coveted skincare products which have transformed my skin. I have been a fan of Neal’s Yard Remedies for quite some time and these two cleansers are firm must-haves. If you missed my post then check it out here: Skincare Update: Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm & Calendula Cleanser.
Wellbeing: Home & Health
Since my dad has retired he has been spending a day a week at my house doing the redecorating.
He also decided to renovate the decaying wrought iron & wood benches which were left in our garden from the previous owners when we bought the house.
Don’t they look fabulous? He has given these benches a new lease of life. They are such good quality and I love the sage colour he picked for the iron! Fantastic. Thanks dad!
I have been eating a lot of salads again this week and the falafels from Cauldron foods have been a staple. They are so so tasty and hopefully I will start feeling better next week from eating more healthy.
On Saturday we took delivery of a huge IKEA order which is mostly for my new study. Dave put together the desk below which I absolutely love. I will share more photos when my study is complete.
Kat Von D Beauty Haul
Kat Von D make-up was finally launched in the UK in Debenhams on Tuesday 13th.
I was so excited that I stayed up and logged in at 1am when the products went live and put my order in.
I ordered three of the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, one of the Studded Kiss lipsticks, a Crushed Metal eyeshadow & the Eye Contour Brush. Bless Dave he said he would buy these for me for my birthday which is in a few weeks.
The above photo was taken using the soft focus filter on snapchat but I was wearing the Everlasting Lipstick called Double Dare.
The above is the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Vampira.
And now for the cream of the crop…Oh my word! I also got a stunning surprise yesterday from my amazing boyfriend.
He knew I was disappointed when I saw that the limited edition Serpentina eyeshadow palette was not part of the range which was launched on Debenhams so he sneakily bought it from EBay for me.
This is one of the first looks I tried with the shadows – what do you think?
Thanks for reading and I hope you have enjoyed my weekly round-up. Did you get anything from the Kat Von D range? Let me know your thoughts and any recommendations as I love reading and replying to your comments.
