It’s weekly round-up time again. This week has been good and i’ve even managed to blog twice! Yes twice!
Beauty: Birchbox & Bourjois
On Tuesday I brought to you the unveiling of my August Birchbox, or should I say Birchbag!
If you missed my post then do check out – Birchbox: August 2016 – The Unveiling.
On Thursday I shared my latest beauty haul which had a distinct Bourjois theme!
I am a massive fan of Bourjois and needed a replacement foundation & powder and just had to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer.
If you want to read more about my little beauty buys then click – Bourjois Beauty Haul.
This week I have been busy listing some more of my artwork on my ETSY online shop.
I have had an increase in the number of views each day but so far no sales from ETSY. I know I have to keep promoting my artwork on social media but I do find self promotion difficult. If, however you are interested in checking out more of my work then check out my website over at www.artbyels.co.uk
Cold Coffee: Coconut & Soy Milk
This week I have treated myself not once but twice to a frappucino type cold caramel coffee drink with either coconut milk or soy milk.
I love that I can chose alternative milk when I’m out as I can tolerate some dairy but not too much. Both coffees were delicious but I do love that Starbucks offers a choice of coconut or soy milk as a dairy milk alternative.
Home & Garden: Bamboo & Coral
With summer in full swing our garden is sprouting into action. Hiding at the very bottom of our garden are massive overgrown clumps of bamboo which are sprouting new shoots all over the place! Just look how high these shoots have grown in the space of a few weeks!
I do like them but I don’t like how unruly it can be and how difficult bamboo is to remove… This will be our Autumn project.
This week my lovely dad painted one wall in my soon-to-be study a lovely bright coral colour. I fell in love with this beautiful bright colour and it really freshens up the neutral magnolia on the other walls. This will be my perfect study place for when I start my MRes in September.
I hope you have enjoyed my weekly round-up. Thanks for reading. What have you been up to this week? What have you been loving? Let me know your thoughts, I love reading and replying to your comments.
