We have had the longest day over here in the UK; it is officially summer! I went away on holiday last week so I thought I would write a post about my holiday beauty essentials. If you want to read all about my holiday then click the link Weekly Round-Up: 1.1 North Wales Holiday Edition.
The weather was suprisingly warm in North Wales so these were my go-to beauty products to create a fresh and light look.
On the days I wanted to have some light definition to my eyes I would reach for the stunning Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette.
I would use the beautiful cool toned matte brown shade Anaheim in my crease and either the subtle gold shimmer shade Skimp or the peachy nude matte shade Stark all across my lid. I love this eyeshadow palette so much as I can create such a range of looks. Love it.
Next up my go-to summer fragrance; Zoella Sweet Inspirations Fragranced Body Mist. I have totally fallen in love with this creamy sweet fragrance and this was my must-have spritz of choice throughout my holiday and still is!
I have also been embracing a more subtle sun-kissed look and the new Glam Bronze Cushion de Soleil by L’Oréal has been my perfect bronzer.
This bronzer is also the perfect accompaniment to the new L’Oréal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. Both of the creamy liquid formulas work well together to create a light healthy base which makes your face glow.
I have also been loving the Blush Sculpt by L’Oréal and the perfect pop of colour this has been giving to my cheeks. All of these base products gave me such a healthy glow, perfect for the warm, windy Welsh weather.
Even when doing a quick 5-minute make-up defining my brows is always a must. I have been loving the Brow Archery from Soap & Glory, so much so that all of the print has rubbed off the tube! The tiny twist up pencil is great for creating precise definition and the spoolie on the other end is perfect for tidying up my brows. Gorgoeus.
I gave into the hype and so glad that I did as the Lasting Perfection Concealer from Collection stands the test of time and totally lives up to the hype. Perfect for neutralising dark under eye circles and covering up blemishes. It also stands up to the heat well. Love it.
I do get incredibly dry skin so taking a good hand cream on holiday was an absolute must. This Superskin Handcream from Liz Earle has been my go-to hand cream for some time. It has such a beautifully light cream like texture which absorbs into the skin effortlessly leaving my hands hydrated, plump and nourished. A must have summer beauty essential.
The above lip combo was my most worn look on holiday. It was super long lasting and even stod up to eating fish and chips!
The Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in the shade Crush is a lovely pinky berry toned shade and topped with the sheer lipgloss from L’Oréal created a super glossy look. This was my go-to combination and throughout the day I would just top up with gloss. Perfect.
