Review: Ciaté Rain Check

Nails, nails, nails – oh have I love a good nail polish. When I saw that In Style magazine came with a free full size Ciaté nail polish last month I had to get my hands on one. A big thank you to the awesome Karen from Confetti & Curves for bringing this to my attention!

I have only ever tried Ciaté nail polish in minature size so it was wonderful to finally experience the beautiful full size bottle. The bottle itself is sleek and stylish and the long brush handle is great for applying the polish. The brush is in my beloved curved style which really aids a smooth and perfect finish.

The polish has a great opaque consistency which isn’t too thick. I could have probably gotten away with only one coat but I did apply two. The polish dries to a gorgeous high shine finish. Stunning.

In Style magazine describes this shade as a deep purple which I would have to disagree with. I would say this shade is a deep navy blue – I can’t see any hints of purple at all!

What do you think? Have you tried anything from the Ciatè range? Thanks for reading and let me know any comments you have as I love to read and reply to you all.

  1. Got this on right now and it is 100% navy. The quality and the fact the fact it’s pretty much free means I can’t be disappointed but I love deep purple! Fantastic polish though, will probably give it to my mum as I tend not to reach for navy polish! How have you found the navy shade? 🙂
