February Favourites: Beauty, Fashion, Garden, TV

It has been quite a while since I wrote a favourites post so thought it was about time!

So what have I been loving this month? Let’s start with the none beauty or fashion favourites.

Photography: Canon 750D

This month I have been really enjoying using my DSLR camera. I do, however have yet to venture into the somewhat daunting depths of manual mode but I hope to dip my toe in the water soon.

Here are a selection of my favourite photos.

TV: The Great Interior Design Challenge

I have been addicted to watching The Great Interior Design Challenge on BBC 2. It airs at 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and each week four amateur interior designers battle it out to design a room with one being eliminated each day. This week is actually the final where the winning designer from each of the previous weeks fight it out. I will be glued to the TV this week!

Fashion: Scarves & Jewelry

This month wearing a scarf has been an every day essential to keep out the winter winds as well as making a fashion statement!

I have been loving the above two scarves. The grey bird print scarf was a gift from my best friend which I absolutely adore.

The autumnal themed scarf is actually pure silk and came all the way from China! This was gifted to me from my brother when he visited from China in January. It is absolutely beautiful and the photo doesn’t give it justice. A gorgeous scarf.

Swarovski Stardust Blue Double Bracelet

I received this stunning bracelet for Christmas from my boyfriend. It is so sparkly and gives a pop of colour to any outfit. I’ve been wearing this a lot this month. Love it.

This month I have been reaching mostly for nude toned lipsticks. I have been loving the shade Nudist in the Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipsticks by Bourjois. If you missed my full review of the Rouge Edition range check it out here

Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Ex-Girlfriend lipstick. I have completely fallen in love with this lipstick and I really hope this becomes a staple for Urban Decay! For my full review check out – Review & Swatches: Gweb Stefani X Urban Decay Firebird & Ex-Girlfriend.

Skincare: Cleanser & Face Oil

There have been two stand-out skincare products for me this month: a cleanser & a face oil.

Clarins: Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil

This was a sample in a recent Clarins order and I will definitely be buying the full size. This is a heavenly face oil which smells divine and sinks in beautifully to the skin. I’ve been using this as part of my night time routine and in the morning my skin feels radiant and wonderfully hydrated. An amazing face treatment oil.

Soap & Glory: Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk

This was part of a massive Soap & Glory set I gifted myself for Christmas. This is the first cleanser I’ve tried from Soap & Glory and I am impressed. This has a lovely peachy scent and is a creamy gel cleanser which effortlessly melts away any make-up leaving skin beautifully clean and fresh. A winner with me.

Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow ‘Punk’

I have been adoring this eyeshadow palette in general this month but the stand-out shade I’ve been reaching for is the stunning reddish brown Punk. I’ve been loving smudging this along my upper and lower lash lines. If you missed my post dedicated to this beautiful eyeshadow palette then be sure to check up my MUOTD Post.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have enjoyed my February Favourites. Have you tried any of these products? I love reading and replying to your comments.
