I absolutely love getting my subscription beauty boxes – there is nothing better than receiving something to make you smile in the post rather than a bill!
This months Nailbox does not disappoint. This is my second Nailbox and this months theme was funky fresh retro.
Inside this months box was nestled four full size nail polishes and a set of 3D nail wraps which for only £15 I think is amazing value.
Now to what products I actually got in the box:
Eye Candy – Juicylicious RRP £6
I have never heard of Eye Candy as a brand and have struggled to find them online when I tried a quick google. Their website is no longer available so I have a fear that they are a discontinued brand so this may be why not one but two of their products are included in this months box. I could, however be wrong!
Juicylicious is a bold bright neon orange which is not a colour or look I tend to go for. However these more striking shades are great to have in my collection for nail art purposes so I’m not complaining.
OPI Nicole – Sky’s The Limit RRP £8
I am a huge fan of OPI and have not tried anything from their Nicole collaboration. The bottle is a very different shape to the usual sleek OPI standard but (thankfully) the signature curved brush remains which is an absolute winner with me.
Sky’s The Limit is a medium toned blue polish shot through with tiny silver shimmer. This looks like a great colour to build up and wear alone or as a finishing topcoat to give your manicure a sophisticated shimmer. Love it.
Essie – Flowerista £7.99
Essie are another staple nail polish brand for me. Flowerista is a beautiful plum pink/purple colour which will be perfect to inject some bright colour into my manicure in the emerging Spring months. Really pleased to see this in my box.
Rimmel – Wedge of Lime RRP £2.99
This is definitely a colour I would not gravitate towards in the aisles of Boots or Superdrug, however it is growing on me.
This is a zesty lime green colour which I can envisage wearing as an accent nail if I’m not brave enough to rock the full-on look.
Eye Candy – 3D Nail Wraps RRP £4.99
I have never tried nail wraps so I am intrigued to give these a try. When I signed up for Nailbox I hoped it would be a great way to try new nail trends and techniques without splurging lots of money so I am happy with these.
All-in-all if I were to buy these products separately it would set me back £29.97! So the £15 monthly subscription for Nailbox is great value for money and a great way of trying new products you wouldn’t necessarily choose for yourself.
Thank you for reading. What do you think of this months Nailbox? Have you tried any of these colours? I love reading and replying to your comments.
