Review: L’Oréal True Match Super Blendable Foundation

I bought this new foundation a while ago which was a complete the bloggers-made-me-do-it inspired purchase after reading and watching so many rave reviews.

Apparently the formula has been updated adding more oils to achieve a super hydrated and flawless finish. I have to admit that I have never tried the original formula so cannot give a comparison.

I bought the colour 1.N Ivory which seems a good match to my skin. I always struggle with knowing which shade would suit me best. The bottle is made from a sturdy glass and in my opinion looks quite chic. This foundation have a handy pump however my pump does seem to get stuck halfway down which means you can get messy when trying to fix it!

As you can see the formula is indeed super-blendable and a tiny amount goes a long way. I have found that using a small amount and layering the foundation the best way to get a flawless medium coverage. At first I was trying to buff large amounts into my skin and it just wasn’t working. Less is definitely more!

I have really enjoyed using this foundation and it definitely gives a healthy glow to the skin. Great for my dry skin but possibly not so good for an oily skin. This foundation lasts well but doesn’t last all day like the L’Orèal 24hr Infallible Matte – check out my review here

A really good drugstore foundation. Have you tried this? Would you recommend it? I love reading and replying to your comments.
