My week has been very up and down. I have caught myself laughing and actually feeling something in my good moments and in my dark moments I have been frozen, feeling worthless and wanting to retreat from the world. Some days I do question whether I will ever feel normal – whatever that may be!
New Sofa Day
On Wednesday my boyfriend Dave took the day off work to be at home with me for our new sofa delivery. We got the time slot of any time between 7-10 and it arrived just after 7am which was amazing.
I love our new sofa, I think it compliments and fits the room well. I also bought some new cushion covers from H&M Home to incorporate the teal/turquoise of our feature wall and the copper/metallic accents in the room. What do you think?
Dave then decided to take me out for the day as I was feeling brighter than usual so we headed to Cambridge as I wanted to look around Homesense. I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed by the shopping experience – I thought I would pick up lots of things but nothing really grabbed me. I did however buy a quirky framed picture of the quote ‘Enjoy the little things’.
Inbetween our shopping we went to Costa for a quick pick me up.
For some reason I have been craving sushi this week and couldn’t resist picking up this scrumptious pack from the Co-Operative. Such a satisfying lunch.
Yesterday I was inspired to take some photos of our garden in the winter time. The sky was so crisp and clear. I am still amazed at my camera quality. So great to be able to capture some great moments.
I hope you have enjoyed my weekly round-up. What have you been up to this week? I love reading and replying to your comments.
