The countdown to Christmas is truly on now – only 5 sleeps left until the big day. I still have to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday but then I’ll be off until the 4th January yay!

I have been feeling particularly festive this week, it’s been a week filled with gift giving & receiving and trying out glittery Christmas inspired make up. Let’s jump right in.

On Monday after a terrible day at work I arrived home to these beautiful flowers from my wonderful boyfriend Dave. These made me smile.

 
I also ordered myself this amazing star gift from Boots – the Soap & Glory Limited Edition The Whole She-Bang. A lovely pre-Christmas gift to myself 😊. This should have been £60 but I got it at the incredible price of £30. 

 
On Saturday night we went to our good friends Steph & Stephen to exchange Christmas gifts and give 3 year old Taylor her birthday gift. She loved her new sparkly dress and was keen to show me her bedroom, she even tucked herself into bed and gave me several books to read her. Magical! Once the children were asleep we ordered an Indian Takeaway and watched the Strictly final – unfortunately I forgot to take any photos!

These cute gingerbread men tree decorations were reduced to £1 each when I shopped in Tesco so these are two new welcome additions to our tree. 

 
I’ve also been cracking out the glittery nail polish and have been loving this deep red and rose gold glitter combo. Keep checking back to read my full Christmas Nails blog post during the week.
