I thought it was about time for another favourites post and this month there is not one, not two, but three parts! I decided to split my favourites into three editions; homeware, food and of course beauty.
Today is the first in the series of my November favourites – the homeware edition. Since moving house at the start of the month I have purchased quite a few new home items which fast became my most beloved things.
First up every home must have – a candle.
Yankee Candle – Raspberry Sundae
I love a good candle and am a huge fan of Yankee Candles. These candles are great quality with true to life fragrances. I much prefer vanilla, sweet, fruit and foodie based scents and Raspberry Sundae does not let me down. This is a delicious blend of juicy sweet raspberries with creamy notes of vanilla and cream. Love it. A great addition to add a sweet subtle fragrance to our new home. Our new home has a lot of smoke damage (think yellow nicotine stained walls and ceilings – this is why we HAD to decorate quickly) therefore this candle has been perfect to combat the smokey smells.
Owl Ornaments – ‘See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil’
I love owls and have quite a collection of owl things so when I saw these in a local homeware shop they just had to come home with me. These are a stunning glossy white ceramic with gold details – beautiful.
Slate Coasters – Stag Design
These quirky coasters were from the same local homeware shop as the owls. I fell in love with the rustic slate material and the cute white stag design. These compliment our newly painted living room perfectly.
Dome Lidded Cake Stand
I love baking and was in need of a cake stand and cover to display and store my little creations. I picked this up on my recent trip to IKEA. A welcome new purchase for my baking!
Multi-Coloured Glass & String Lights
These were a whim purchase when trying to find a light for our lounge in Homebase. These little coloured bottles have rustic string tying them together and an LED light inside each bottle which twinkle and sparkle beautifully on our mantel piece. Love them.
I hope you have enjoyed my November Homeware Favourites – remember to check back for my food and beauty editions posting soon!
