I have finally moved house! Yay! However our internet is not working but rather suprisingly my mobile phone signal is better than anticipated so I am able to keep up with my regular blog schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Weekly Round-Up on Sunday (unless my data allowance runs out!).
Today’s post is a review of the incredibly thoughtful birthday gifts I got from my rather wonderful boyfriend. If you missed the What I Got For My Birthday post then check it out.
These products are my first experience of the Charlotte Tilbury make-up brand, much coveted in the blogging community for producing on point make-up which is luxurious, elegant & most importantly quality.
First up the truly beautiful K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in the shade Coachella Coral. This has a super creamy and nourishing formula which is extremely comfortable on the lips. The shade is a beautiful coral colour with the perfect balance of pink which makes it a very wearable shade all year round.
The lipstick also has a wonderful creamy sweet vanilla scent – a real treat for the senses. The packaging is also stunning, simple and understated yet elegant and luxurious all at the same time! Looks good in any make-up collection or nestling in my handbag.
Next up is the stunning Eyes to Mesmerise eyeshadow in the shade Bette.
This has a silky almost mousse like texture which is super pigmented and blends like a dream on the eyelid. A tiny amount goes a long long way and I have found applying it with my finger and gently buffing it out achieves the best result. Once the eyeshadow cream has dried & set it literally won’t budge until you want to remove it. No sliding or creasing, stays put all day long. Absolutely love it.
The formula also feels really lightweight on the eyelids, doesn’t flake or feel drying at all. The colour is such a beautiful golden bronze and the colour can be built to create a super intense bronze look.
I absolutely love both of these products and really hope I can try some more Charlotte Tilbury make-up as in my opinion they are really worth the somewhat hefty price tag.
I hope you have enjoyed my mini review. Have you tried these? Do you have any recommendations for me? Love reading and replying to your comments.
