Can’t quite believe that this is the 19th installment of my weekly round-up! This week has been full of ups and downs. We are STILL waiting for a date for our house move, this has been dragging on far longer than it needs to be. Waiting and having no control is very very frustrating. I also got some very sad news this week that an incredible woman and friend who I used to work with passed away suddenly, she was only in her late 30’s and leaves behind a husband and two young sons. She has been taken too soon, and I am still in shock, can’t quite believe I will never see her again.
The main themes of this week have been Autumn, Food & Drink and Beauty products.
The trees on my journeys around the county have been turning some incredible colours this week so I just had to stop and take a few photos.
Above is four sections of four separate photographs which I have edited into one. I am really pleased with how it has turned out. The leaves are starting to turn a beautiful burnt orange and yellow and dropping to the floor. I Love trees in the autumn.
Food & Drink
The evenings are getting darker and the days are slowly getting colder which means I need warming comfort food to see me through! I absolutely adore Indian food especially a tikka masala curry and on Saturday night we bought this delicious curry with onion bhajis, chicken pakoras and naan. Truly scrumptious. The perfect warming aromatic comfort food!
I was gifted these delicious teas last weekend as part of a birthday present. As you probably know I am a lover of all things tea so these were the perfect thoughtful gift for me. I had yet to try Teapigs tea so was intrigued to give these a taste. I will be writing a full review on these delicious and different teas so keep an eye out for that post if your interested! Hot chocolate is another firm favourite of mine and on Saturday night I treated myself to an indulgent hot chocolate from my Tassimo machine topped with lashings of cream and marshmallows. Absolutely delicious. I love when the marshmallows melt slightly – pure decadence. Delicous.
Also on Saturday when shopping for said hot chocolate trimmings I was dumb-founded to be confronted with this stand in my local Co-Operative supermarket.
Beauty: Lipstick & Nails
This week I have been loving two beauty favourites. Both I kindly received as birthday presents. The first being the incredible Coachella Coral lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury.
My second beauty must-have this week is this stunning deep blue nail polish from Accessorize. I will be writing a full blog post about this soon so remember to check back if your interested.
I hope you have enjoyed this weekly round-up. Hope you have had a good week. Have you tried any of the things mentioned? What is your favourite autumnal beverage? I love reading and replying to your comments.
