What I Got For My Birthday

So as you may know it was my birthday on Tuesday – 6th October. I celebrated my 32nd birthday…. can’t quite believe I have turned 32… I definitely thought I would be married with children by this age but alas no. I do however have an amazing boyfriend and we are moving into our first home which we have bought together soon….and we both want children, so I’m getting there!

Anyway, I digress. A few weeks ago I posted my Birthday Wishlist – you can check it out here if you missed it. I had a lovely birthday, apart from having to be at work as I had a whole service training day!

I woke up slightly earlier than usual so I could open my cards and presents 😊. I had lots of lovely cards, received some money from various family members which is always appreciated.

One of my friends bought me the totally adorable tea towels and oven gloves from the Cath Kidston sausage dog range. So so cute and will be a great addition to my new kitchen… When we do eventually move!

Blues and greens are my favourite shades of colour and my boyfriends mum and dad bought me this lovely scarf which has beautiful shades of blue running through it. I also love owls and they bought me this handmade home decoration with felt owls on which will be great to hang in the house.

Dave caved into my not-so-subtle hints and got me this beautiful tote bag by Cath Kidston. I absolutely fell in love with this bag and the beautiful water colour style rose print design with lots of gorgeous blues. Love it.  It’s a great size for all of my books and things for work. Perfect.

Not only did my wonderful boyfriend buy me the gorgeous bag from my wish list but he also bought me not one but two Charlotte Tilbury make-up products!

I am sure I will do a full review of these products soon so do check back if your interested in reading that. I absolutely love the packaging. The rose gold packaging of the lipstick is just so elegant and screams Charlotte Tilbury! My first impressions are great, the colour is more coral than I had anticipated but it is a lovely muted pink coral and the formula is super creamy with a satin finish. The lipstick has a beautiful vanillary scent which is just divine.

The cream eyeshadow is a stunning burnished gold/bronze colour. I have been wearing this every day since my birthday. I love the mousse-like consistency, so creamy and buttery and blends like a dream. Love it.

I hope you have enjoyed this post. I feel incredibly blessed to have such wonderful and generous friends and family to have received such thoughtful gifts. Have you tried any of the products mentioned? I always love reading and replying to your comments.
