Last week I went into town to spend some of the money I had been kindly given in anticipation of my birthday (my birthday was actually yesterday 😊), so of course a meander around Boots was top of my priority list. I coincidentally had lots of great Boots vouchers to use which gave me double points and various different points offers which were screaming out to be used.
I also needed to buy some new slippers as my feet have been feeling the cold recently. When we do eventually move into our new home it needs lots of renovation so we will be living without carpets for a while so I was in desperate need of getting some nice comfy slippers to protect my toes as I am not a fan of socks and spend the majority of my time inside with bare feet!
I fell in love with these super soft rabbit slippers in Accessorize – I am a big fan of slippers by Accessorize I always find them to be well made which means they last well and these were just so so cute. These rabbits slippers come complete with bunny ears and a cute fluffy bunny tail. Love them.
My boyfriend Dave also fell in love with this Pineapple candle lantern from Debenhams. He had been lusting over this for a while and this is our first purchase in anticipation of our impending house move. Can’t wait to set this up in our new home together 😊.
Now on to the beauty haul….
Soap & Glory: Rich & Foamous Body Wash
I was on the look out for a new luxurious body wash and wanted to try another from the Soap & Glory range. This has a comforting honey and oat scent which reminds me of baked goods and promises to be super creamy and hydrating on the skin. Can’t wait to try this out.
Soap & Glory: Face Massage Mini Mitt
As I was perusing the Soap & Glory aisles I stumbled across this mini massage mitt which looked intriguing. I am hoping I can use this to help me wash my make-up brushes rather than getting a soggy wet hand!
Bourjois: Air Mat Foundation
I am a massive fan of Bourjois as a make-up brand and particularly covet their Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. This Air Mat Foundation is a new release and the initial buzz I’ve heard about this product has been incredibly positive. Promises to deliver a matte finish to the skin which is lightweight, not cakey and super long lasting. I am looking forward to putting this to the test!
Bourjois: Rouge Edition Velvet – Grand Cru
Bourjois products were on a 2 for £14 offer so I decided to pick up a more autumnal appropriate shade of their beautiful Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks in the deep red Grand Cru. I love the quality and lasting power of these liquid lipsticks so I am sure this won’t disappoint. For my full review of the other Bourjois: Rouge Edition lipsticks I own check it out here.
Real Techniques: Blush Brush
Since entering the incredible world of blogging I have seriously upped my make-up game and now have quite a collection of make-up brushes. I was however missing a decent blush brush so this one by Real Techniques found its way into my basket.
Soap & Glory: Scrub Your Nose In It
I had a voucher to get 50 Boots point on any Soap & Glory skincare product and this face scrub caught my eye. My skin has been breaking out recently with lots of spots along my jaw, chin and some on my cheeks so I am hoping this scrub will help to sort it out.
Barry M: Sunset Day Light Curing Polish
I couldn’t buy a beauty haul without updating my nail polish wardrobe! I was hoping to pick up the fushia colour in this range which has been raved about recently by YouTuber Fleur de Force but it had sold out. Oh the power of a beauty blogger/vlogger.
So as an alternative I picked up this deep purple shade called Plum On Baby in the Sunset Day Light Curing range. I have yet to try anything from this particular range by Barry M so be sure to check back if you are interested in my first impressions.
