Mani Monday: Tanya Burr New York Night

On Sunday my partner and I went into town and of course I had to pop into Superdrug and Boots.

I had been wanting to try something from the Tanya Burr range for a while and when I spotted the new launch with the new stunning rose gold packaging I just had to get a few of the nail polishes. Tanya Burr and of course Pixiwoo are from my old stomping ground of Norfolk (I’ve now hoped over the border to the dark side in Suffolk) I just had to support a homegrown success!

I actually picked up three of the nail polishes from the Tanya Burr Cosmetics range – I will do a full haul post soon so keep checking back for that.

As soon as I saw this beautiful deep dark purple shade I just had to put it on my nails and I was not disappointed. This is a perfect classic colour to take me through the autumn and winter months.

In the bottle this definitely has a deep purple berry tone to the polish. However when on the nail it appears much darker – more deep dark brown with a really subtle berry undertone.

I applied three thin coats to achieve this flawless opaque pop of colour. This is a great nail polish. This applies really smoothly and is quick to dry with a super high shine sheen. Love it. The packaging of these nail polishes look so much more professional and high-end than the first release. The rose gold lid can be taken off to reveal a small handle to the polish brush which supports a perfect application.

Keep checking back for my full haul. Have you tried any of these Tanya Burr nail polishes? I love reading and replying to your comments.
