After a lovely day on Saturday I was excited to be home and greeted by this months Birchbox.
This month is the #BeautyJunkie edit and the box is covered in cute beauty and make up inspired emojis! Such a pretty box which I will definitely keep for storage.
I am really impressed with this months box – some great high-end brands and some great products to try! As an extra I also got some very cute emoji stickers – I do love a good sticker!
Rituals: Ayurveda Scrub (70ml, Full Size £10)
I have heard of this brand before but have yet to try anything from them so I was very happy to see this nestled in my box. This is an Indian Rose & Multani Clay purifying body scrub which can be used as a scrub in the shower or as a treatment body mask – sounds interesting and I can’t wait to try. The scent is beautiful too – I love rose scents! Very pleased with this.
Beauty & Protector: Protect & Detangle Leave-In Conditioner (Sample Size, Full Size £14)
This is a lovely leave-in conditioner. I received their hair oil in another Birchbox which I absolutely adored so I am looking forward to giving this a good try!
Illamasqua: Hydra Veil (Sample Size 3ml, Full Size £32)
Again I have heard of this high-end brand but have yet to try anything by them. Monthly beauty subscription boxes are a great way to try these sorts of products before you invest in the full size. This is a rehydrating gel perfect to use before applying foundation to instantly rehydrate, smooth and even out your complexion. Perfect.
Huygens: Exfoliating Cream (Sample Size 10ml, Full Size £17.90)
I love love love skincare so this beautiful face scrub is really intriguing to try! It smells gorgeous, slightly floral with a hint of citrus. This has a rich cream texture with rice powder particles to gently buff the skin. I am looking forward to trying this.
Lord & Berry: Blush in Lotus (Sample Size, Full Size £17)
I received one of Lord & Berry’s lipstick crayons in a previous Birchbox which was fabulous and this blush does not disappoint! This has a beautifully soft, buttery and highly pigmented consistency and texture. I absolutely adore the soft mauve colour too – fabulous.
The Balm: Balm Desert Bronzer (Sample Size, Full Size £15)
Again I have yet to try anything from this high-end brand and when I opened my box and spied this super cute packaging hiding in there I was beaming from ear to ear! The packaging is retro and so adorable and the bronzer is a beautifully pale shade – perfect for me to try as I am not a massive fan of bronzer because I am so pale so I am looking forward to using this to experiment with some make-up looks!
All-in-all I am incredibly impressed and really happy with all the products I’ve received in this months Birchbox.
