What’s In My Bag: Casual Edition

Last week I posted my first what’s in my bag post and it seemed to go down well! If you didn’t catch it head over here to read the What’s In My Bag: Work Edition post. So this week, as promised I am writing the What’s In My Bag: Casual Edition. Now let’s get started!

Cath Kidston: Cowboy Print Oil Cloth Bag

First of all lets just take in the beautiful print on my Cath Kidston bag. I absolutely adore the cowboy print by Cath Kidston – I have several large mugs in this design so when I saw this bag I just couldn’t walk on past! This is an old style design and cannot be bought in store on online anymore. I managed to snap this up at the Cath Kidston Factory Store in Cambridgeshire not far from where I live – perfect for picking up some kitchen essentials for our home move!

This bag is a great useable and wearable size – it is just big enough to keep all of the items photographed above and my iPhone 6. It has two compartments; the main compartment of the bag and a much smaller pocket on the front where I store my make-up bits. There is also a zipped section in the main bag. I also love the sturdy strap on this bag – the length can be changed so it can either be worn across the body or on the shoulder.

Cath Kidston: Bird Print Folded Zip Wallet/Purse

This was another great present from my wonderful boyfriend Dave – he chooses gifts well!

I just adore the print of this purse – I love all things birds and this is a particularly beautiful and intricate bird design. Love it.

This purse has a great zipped compartment perfect to put all your coins and a double sided compartment secured with the popper, to store a large number of cards – perfect.

Lip Products: Benefit and Bourjois

I tend to mix between a few different lip combinations which I keep in my casual bag at all times. At the moment I have been loving these three:

Benefit – Hoola Lipgloss

I have had this lipgloss for literally a couple of years and it’s still going strong. I am a huge Benefit fan and this Hoola lipgloss is a truly beautiful subtle nude lipgloss with a bronze shimmer. It has a great texture and consistency, it’s not sticky and is beautifully hydrating. Perfect casual lipgloss. Love it.

Bourjois – Appêchisant Aqua Laque

As you all probably know I am a massive fan of the drugstore brand Bourjois, especially their lip products and this one is no exception. Check out my full review of the Bourjois: Rouge Edition range here

Bourjois – Peach on the Beach Color Boost Lip Crayon

This was a free gift I received recently in Boots when I spent a certain amount of Bourjois products – I received this great lip crayon and a bronzer and brush.

At first I thought I would never wear this colour as it does look like a very bright neon coral colour. However when it’s applied to the lips it is a very wearable soft peach/coral shade. Perfect for summer! This is also super glossy and super hydrating so a great product to have in your bag. Love it

Mirror – Bird Design Mirror

I bought this handy little mirror from Chatsworth House when we visited last year. The beautiful bird print on the back of the mirror is the exact same print used as wallpaper in one of the bedrooms in the historic house which I fell in love with. I love birds and this mirror is just so cute, perfect to keep in your bag for make-up touch ups!

Bourjois – Healthy Mix Powder

This is a staple face powder for me. It’s so fine and lightweight and perfect for keeping you shine-free during the day. This compact also has a handy mirror inside so I always carry this with me.

I hope you have enjoyed this edition of what’s in my bag! These have been fun posts to write. Let me know what you think. I love reading and replying to all your comments.
