So it’s that time of the week again where I share my weekly round-up. This has been a busy week of work, catch up with friends, house stuff and to top it all off nicely today is me and my boyfriends 2 year anniversary 😊.
Last week we put our house up for sale and after only 24 hours we had four viewings booked! So most of the evenings this week has been taken up with ensuring our house is tidy and a true reflection of the house promotional photos and showing potential buyers around! We have two people who are definitely interested so *fingers crossed* – we should know next week whether they have put an offer in.
Tuesday evening I went to Waga Mama’s meeting up with a good friend of mine.
I tried the green juice which was a new experience for me – contained celery, mint, kale and apple juice, was very tasty and refreshing. We shared a plate of stir fried greens and for main I had a beautifully cooked tuna steak with quinoa salad and cucumber which was delicious – I love Waga Mama’s but wanted to try something a bit different to the usual noodle based dishes I tend to go for. I was not disappointed – another winner from Waga Mama!
On Wednesday my boyfriend and I viewed a property for sale we were interested in. It requires a lot of decorating and renovation, however with a lick of paint it is move-in-able and we could renovate a room at a time. In the afternoon we had a meeting with the bank to discuss mortgages and to get a decision in principle – all very grown up! I’m not sure when I became a grown up… Becoming an adult just creeps up on you!
On Saturday we had a second viewing of the property along with my boyfriends dad who works in the building trade so we hoped he could give us an informed opinion as to how much work would be needed and whether the amount of work needed was one step too far for us. He loved the property too so we have put in an offer which has provisionally been accepted pending an offer being put in on our house. *fingers crossed*
Saturday Shopping: Barry M Love
On Saturday, amongst the chaos and stress of house viewing, number crunching and putting in an offer we also perused the shops and I found myself at the Barry M stand in Boots! If you are a regular reader of my blog then you will know I love all things nails and more recently have been enjoying experimenting with a variety of nail colours and loving the variety within the Barry M range.
I picked up these three polishes at £3.99 each, however if you spent over £6 on Barry M you could choose a Gelly Nail Paint for FREE! Great offer which I couldn’t refuse (for the second time…). I picked up a bold royal blue colour, a glitter top coat and a creamy lilac pastel pink colour. I am planning on writing a more in depth post about these polishes soon so do come back to check that out!
Sunday: 2 Year Anniversary
Sunday marks the 2 year anniversary of my boyfriend and I getting together. Feels like we have been together forever (in a good way!). So much has happened this week in regards to our future with making plans to move to a much bigger home etc so it’s been a perfect end to the week.
To celebrate my boyfriend wanted to buy me a lovely watch to mark the occasion.
I fell in love with this beautiful rose gold plated watch. Love my boyfriend so much 😊 he really is the most patient, generous, giving and kind man – and he is all mine 😊.
Hope you have enjoyed my weekly round up – what have been upto this week?
