Beauty Protector – Hair Oil

I received these two little vials of the Beauty Protector Protect & Oil hair oil in my June BirchBox – for the full Birchbox unveiling check out my post.

I have never used a hair oil before so was intrigued by these cute little vials. The oil has quite a thick consistency and you only need a couple of drops to smooth into your hair. The oil shields hair against UV and heat damage which is great for the summer.

I have very thick colour-treated hair with a natural soft wave which means it does get very dry and breaks easily so needs intensive nourishment. This oil has really given my hair a boost – it’s now super smooth and shiny and has worked wonders on my frizz.

I use a couple of drops which I gently warm in the palm of my hands before smoothing it evenly over damp freshly washed hair. It has a beautiful soft sweet vanilla scent which I just adore. I have been using this daily for a few weeks now and as you can see only a small amount has gone from one of the vials so it will last for ages. This is definitely a product I will consider repurchasing once I have finished the vials.

Have you tried this hair oil in your Birchbox yet? Any suggestions on other oil I should check out?

  1. I love using hair oil!! Maybe try out the L’oreal Paris hair oil for coloured hair, it works miracles! You can also use any hair oils once you have styled your hair to help keep your hair in place all day! Xx
