Last weekend during my shopping spree in Boots (see what I picked up here) I just couldn’t resist having a quick rummage around the Bourjois stand looking for these beautiful new releases!
The Bourjois 12hr Aqua Blush are available in four wonderful shades of nude, pink, berry and this gorgeous coral shade 02 CocoriCorail which was screaming to be in my make-up collection!
These are liquid blushes with a light-weight gel-like texture which blend beautifully for a sheer boost to the cheeks. It suggests to use one pump, whereas I find 1/2 a pump is plenty to achieve a beautiful radiant glow.
In the product description it suggests to apply using your fingers to tap and blend the product into your cheeks. I started by pumping a small amount on to my hand and using my fingers – however I could never get the flawless finish I was looking for as you have to work with the product quite quickly before it sets – this is super long lasting stuff, when using the pump-onto-hand method I was left walking around all day with a peachy stain on the back of my hand… Not a good look!
Therefore I switched up my application method and tried pumping a small amount on to my Real Techniques Stippling Brush and worked the blush into my cheeks this way – this is my preferred method as the brush allows you to blend and build the blush for a natural sheer glow – just beautiful.
This is another great product from Bourjois – definitely my highstreet make-up brand of choice. The blush costs £8.99 which is great value – I may have to purchase another shade to add to my collection!
Have you tried this blush or any other cream/liquid blushes? Love reading and replying to your comments.
