So this morning my boyfriend and I braved the glorious wet (yet uncomfortably muggy) British weather and made our way into town as I wanted to go to Boots and as a compromise we also had a cheese scone & caramel latte in Marks & Spencer – yummy!
I wanted to go to Boots specifically to pick up the new Bourjois 12hr Aqua Blush and one of the L’Orèal Infallible Mega Gloss Lipglosses – however I managed to pick up a few others new bits too – of course!
Now let’s get into the haul!
Left – Right:
Bourjois – Sunkiss Collection – Free!
Boots currently have a great offer on where if you spend over £15 on Bourjois cosmetics you get this Sunkiss Collection for free! You get a full size Bronzing Powder Brush, Maxi Delight Bronzing Powder and Color Boost Lip Crayon (in #04 Peach on the Beach). The brush is a really nice quality and a great addition to my ever expanding make-up brush collection – my first bronzer brush actually. The Lip Crayon is a lovely peachy colour with a high gloss so I’m sure I’ll get use out of it. The Bronzing Powder is a good size, however the shade I received states for Olive/Tanned Skin….. So I don’t think I will be using this on my pale English rose complexion… This is a dark bronzer with a slight gold shimmer.
OGX – Lemon Highlights Shampoo & Conditioner, Coconut Water Shampoo
I have been wanting to try these for quite some time having read and watched other bloggers raving about this haircare range. I managed to pick these up on a 3 for 2 in Boots – they cost £6.99 each so I got one free – great discounted price to give these a try. I have blonde colour-treated hair so I went for the Lemon Highlights which claims to brightens your highlights and has a beautiful lemony scent. Looking forward to trying these out.
Barry M – Gelly Hi Shine
As you probably know I love nail polish and trying out new colours. I have read a lot about the quality of Barry M polishes so thought I would give them a go. These were also on a great offer in Boots where if you spend over £6 on Barry M cosmetics you get a Gelly Hi Shine for free. A single nail polish was £3.99 so I picked up two and got the third free. I decided on the stunning deep blue called ‘blackberry’, beautiful soft lilac ‘prickly pear’ and of course I had to try a beloved red so I picked up ‘blood orange’. I look forward to giving these a try as the colour range for Barry M nail polishes is vast so if I like I’ve got so many more to try!
Bourjois – 12hr Aqua Blush – £8.99 02 Cocori Corail
I am a massive fan of Bourjois make-up so when I read about these new release blushes I just had to have one! These are liquid cream blushes which are a new concept to me and I decided on the peachy coral shade – looking forward to testing this out for the summer.
L’Orèal – Infallible Mega Gloss – £8.99 110 I Got The Power – Cream
I first saw these lip glosses when watching FleurdeForce’s May beauty news & faves YouTube videos and they looked incredible – I particularly loved the look of the cream finish nude shade I Got The Power so I am so pleased I managed to pick this up.
Bourjois – Rouge Edition Velvet – £5.99 03 Hot Pepper
If you read my recent review post about the Bourjois Rouge Editions you will know my love of this great range. (Click here to check out the post). I wanted to try another of the Velvet Matte range so decided on the beautiful bold red of Hot Pepper. I hope I will have the confidence to try this out as I have yet to properly rock a red lip.
Maybelline – Browsatin – £5.99 Dark Blond
I have been wanting to try this for a while but whenever I looked for it my shade it was always out of stock. I was delighted to finally find this today! It’s a brow duo product – one end a fine pencil, the other a soft powder to fill in sparse brows. I love a good brow so looking forward to giving this a whirl!
Mitchum – Pure Fresh cream 48hr Anti-Perspirant & Deodrant – £2
I love Mitchum deodorants for the summer as they are long lasting and they do actually keep me dry and fresh. I love the cream formula as it is nourishing yet protective on the delicate underarm skin – this was also on special offer at the bargain price of £2 – winner!
