Liz Earle Body Care: Review

I got these two wonderful full size Liz Earle body wash and body cream products as part of a recent Today’s Special Value on QVC.

L – R:

Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash

I have to be honest, I don’t tend to spend a lot on body products especially body washes – I do however try to use moisturising body washes as I do have sensitive skin which is prone to having dry patches and I find that showering can really dry out my skin. I am a fan of the Nivea and Dove moisturising body wash range which you can pick up for a few £’s at a supermarket.

However this Liz Earle body wash has been a bit of a game changer for me. It has made me stop and think about what products I am putting on my body and the possible negative effects and skin care benefits.

As you may know I am a massive advocate of the Liz Earle facial skin care range – I cannot praise this brand enough for sorting out my skin. The range is balancing, hydrating and has transformed my dull skin to be a radiant beacon of health 😀.

This is however the first body wash I have used from the brand. This has a beautiful botanical floral with citrus tones scent which is a joy to experience in the shower. The gel transforms into a luxurious rich lather which cleanses without stripping the skin – leaving the skin wonderfully soft and hydrated. A real treat in the shower!

I will definitely consider repurchasing this when I’ve finished the bottle – however at £13 for a 200ml bottle it is on the pricey side for a body wash – but I am not ruling out a repurchase!

Nourishing Botanical Body Cream

I had a sample of this many years ago and I was hooked – it left my dry sensitive skin feeling so soft and supple – I loved it, but at the time I was a penniless student and just couldn’t justify the £19 price tag for a 200ml bottle.

This is why I love the QVC Today’s Special Value deals as you are able to stock up on your skincare staples (Cleanse and Polish, Toner, Skin Repair Moisturiser) and try other Liz Earle products in full sizes – a bumper pack of products for a bargain price.

I was so excited when I realised that the Nourishing Botanical Body Cream was part of this deal. I have been using body lotions on a more regular basis recently as my skin has been very dry. I have been loving the Garnier Oil-Infused Nourishing Lotion (see full review here) however this Liz Earle Body Cream has bumped Garnier to second place in the fight for my favourite body lotions!

The has a thick cream consistency – however it sinks in very quickly to the skin without any stickiness or tackiness left on the skin. This has a lovely subtle botanical and rose scent which I just love. I am a massive lover of all things rose – especially the intoxicating sweet scent of rose.

Such a treat to use this body cream – a little goes a long way so this bottle will last a while. I will definitely be repurchasing 😀 Another great product form Liz Earle!
