Garnier Oil-infused Nourishing Lotion: Review

I have a real love/hate relationship with body lotions, creams and butters. I do have very dry skin which can have very discoloured dry patches. I always use a moisturising body wash in the shower and I have more recently been using the Nivea in-shower body creme – however it just isn’t enough to get my skin ready for summer.

What I don’t like about other body lotions, creams and butters is that sometimes the texture is difficult for my skin to absorb – leaving a tackiness to the skin which takes a long time to fully absorb, meaning I either have to wait to get dressed or I get dressed and risk the residue getting on to my clothes and possibly staining – so this is why I have a love/hate relationship! I love the eventual feeling on my skin – leaving it soft and smooth, but I don’t like the drama of applying butter, cream or lotion and waiting for it to do its work!

However, this Oil-Infused Nourishing Lotion from Garnier is like nothing I have ever tried before! It has a smooth thick lotion texture which soaks in very very quickly without leaving any tackiness or stickiness to the skin! It also smells really lovely! It is a subtle intoxicating scent which is a pleasure to apply. This lotion includes 4 oils – Argan, Macadamia, Almond, Rose. These have a beautiful scent and really boost the moisture levels in this lotion – wonderful!

This is also a good price at £4.99 for 250ml – I cannot wait to use this after my shower each day. A real treat! Love it!

What is your favourite body lotion, cream or butter? xXx

  1. Hi Em, I am enjoying reading your blog. I have very dry skin and eczema on most of my body. Like you, I really struggle with creams, lotions and body butters. At the moment I am using an emollient cream prescribed by my doctor. A friend at work has recommended Lush Dream Cream and it has very good reviews so I think I am going to check it out x

    • Thank you for your sweet comment – glad you have been enjoying my blog 😊. Yes I have used Lush Dream Cream years ago and it is very calming for dry eczema prone skin so I would definitely recommend you give it a try xx
