EOS lip balm – Review

EOS (Evolution of Smooth) is an American beauty brand whom I have been made aware of because of bloggers and Vloggers raving about their lip balms! I am a massive lip balm fan but these little beauties are not widely available in the UK and I have never seen them when I have been shopping. I did however find them online on Amazon. This bumper pack of five lip balms set me back £13.95 so £2.79 each which I thought was a bargain!

These are beautifully packaged, I love the sphere shape. The texture of the sphere packaging is a hard plastic which has a nice tactile feel in the hands if that makes sense! The lip balms contain shea butter and jojoba oil which makes them super hydrating and nourishing.

Now for peaking inside and the gorgeous flavours! When you twist open the sphere packaging it reveals a lovely sphere of lip balm which can be applied straight onto the lips without the need to use your fingers to smooth it on – fabulous! The sphere shape makes application so quick and easy as it glides across the whole lip.

Passion Fruit – a gorgeous pastel lilac colour packaging with a subtle fruity scent and flavour of passion fruit. Yummy!

Blueberry Acai – a lovely pastel blue packaging and a fruity hit of blueberry. This is one of my favourites as it is such a mouth watering flavour and I am a massive fan of blueberries!

Summer Fruit – a gorgeous deep red colour packaging with a subtle smooth fruity scent and flavour – think red berry fruits.

Strawberry Sorbet – This is a firm favourite. A gorgeous pastel pink colour packaging and a lovely scent and flavour of strawberry. I would describe it as a sweet strawberry – reminds me of strawberry chew sweets like starburst (or Opal Fruits as I remember them!). Just wonderful!

Sweet Mint – A cute blue/soft green colour packaging and a tingly subtle scent and flavour of mint – think sweet chewing gum mint. This is another favourite as it leaves a slight tingle on the lips because of the minty zing!

All in all I love these lip balms. They are very moisturising and are nicely flavoured, with ‘real’ flavours which are convincing rather than feeling really artificial. The lip balms are also 100% natural and 95% organic which is great! The unique packaging and sphere application is quirky and fun and they are a good size to keep one in your bag at all times.

What do you think? Have you tried any EOS lip balms? xXx
